Factory-installed rearview cameras
Why are rearview cameras needed?
When maneuvering while parking, it can be difficult to gauge the car's dimensions. In addition, parking sensors don’t always save the day in tricky situations, as their design prevents them from detecting thin obstacles located between the sensors (such as a piece of rebar sticking out of the asphalt).
A rearview camera lets you see everything happening behind your car’s rear bumper with your own eyes on the monitor.
Types of car cameras
There are two main types: factory-installed cameras and universal cameras. The first type is installed on the car without any modifications; there is no need to drill or cut anything. The car camera is installed as a factory-installed component, either in place of the license plate light or in the trunk handle. In both cases, full functionality is preserved.
